Shira read body heat against cold mineral stone. Maren traced ancient water through marrow-channels of the deep catacombs. Aera read the still air’s pressure where no wind ever reached. Dalla felt foreign mineral threading through bone where it did not belong. Senne reached for life and found only decomposition. Itheira read concealment so deep it lived in skeletal structure. Lirien hummed against stone that absorbed every note. And the Bone priestess taught me to read the weight of every name laid in earth… and to commune with the honored dead.
