When the news of an impending extinction-level meteor impact is made public, humanity struggles to find some way to survive.

Violet journals her life in a notebook in the form of letters to her grandmother. They start out sarcastic and funny, as she shares entertaining and exaggerated tales of her teenage life. But when Violet finds out about the meteor, everything changes. Suddenly she is thrust into a grown-up world, and her survival isn’t guaranteed.
