Now, he has to work to pay back that loan despite charging lower prices to guild members, inventing new cures, and trying to catch the attention of the fetching waitress at the tavern\u2014all while continuing forbidden research into a dangerous plague.<\/p>\n
This story includes cozy, slice-of-life adventures, slow-burn romance, mouthwatering descriptions of food, lots of alchemical shenanigans, plenty of humor, and, of course, a happily ever after. Although this is technically the second story in the series, they can be listened to in any order.<\/i><\/p>\n
