Chimera shines above the clouds, but beneath its brilliance, old systems are waking, alarms are being silenced, and the mark in Jay\u2019s palm is answering powers no one wants to name.<\/p>\n<p>The Sun Scepter has already changed his life. Now it may reveal something far more dangerous: forgotten routes connecting worlds, cities, relics, and histories that were buried for a reason. As Jay and his companions uncover what Chimera has hidden, the question becomes less about who can open the roads\u2014and more about who can be trusted not to own them.<\/p>\n<p>When a sky-corsair steals a missing piece of the old map, the hunt carries Jay and the crew of the Veyrion into the Bright Sea, a lawless expanse of cloud reefs, wreck fields, storm lanes, and stolen histories. To recover the fragment, they must chase a thief who may not understand what he has taken before the wrong hands reopen a path no world is ready to walk.<\/p>\n<p>But Jay\u2019s greatest danger may not be the corsair, the courts, or the ancient machines beneath Chimera.
